Spring
is here - Summer is comming, time to run trains and build more track!
Welcome to the official website of the Kern County
Live Steamers. We are a relatively new club, formed
officially in March of 2001. We have some 700 feet
of panel track we can, and have, set up at various
locations for shows and rides. We are also actively
laying track at Murray Family Farms located on the
Northwest corner of Hwy 58 and General Beale Rd. We
have Completed the first loop of track and have had
Several run days. We are now working on the steaming
bays, Y track for reversing and sidings and
especially a loading track.
If you would like to pursue the hobby of live steam
railroading with us, we would be both happy and
grateful to have you fill out and submit our online
