Welcome to the official website of the Kern County
Live Steamers. We are a relatively new club, formed
officially in March of 2001. We have some 700 feet
of panel track we can, and have, set up at various
locations for shows and rides. We have set up our
portable track in Hart Park at the east end where
the old railroad was before, by the old park ranger
quarters and the water wheel building.
If you have or know someone with 10 to 20 acres
they would like to donate to the club for a facility please contact us at
the numbers listed below.
If you would like to pursue the hobby of live steam
railroading with us, we would be both happy and
grateful to have you fill out and submit our online
